JICA METHANE FACILITY
JICA project / Vietnam National University of Agriculture — Promotion, demonstration and commercialization project for methane fermentation power generation and organic fertilizer production using municipal waste
This project selected for JICA's SDGs Business Support Project for SMEs, involves anaerobic fermentation of food waste and livestock manure, and utilizes the sludge as agricultural fertilizer, verifying its effectiveness and business opportunities.
At the same time, various waste materials are analyzed and verified the biogas potential by BMP device, clarified the effectiveness of materials for power generation.
The facility for these experiments was designed, procured, and installed by us on the Vietnam National University of Agriculture.

Biogas Plant
- TOYO YABU BIOGAS POWER PLANT
- TOYO Yabu Biogas Power Plant is a biogas plant using various feedstock including poultry manure, cattle manure and food waste. It was implemented in Yabu city, Hyogo prefecture. We are also trying to make sales channels of digestate to local farmers and build tomato vinyl houses in the adjacent areas.

- We constructed a biogas plant using 100% cattle manure in the reclaimed land in Kasaoka City, Okayama Prefecture. It produces 1,427 kW/h of renewable energy.
